Anarchy is the curent politic system in greece''chaos is what s coming

I don't remember the students being 'violent'. It was the out-of-towners who were known to be vigilantes that ruined most of our peaceful protests. Oh! how I remember that awful pepper spray. I helped drag in so many fallen students to our kitchen to run water over their eyes. The 'local yokels' (police)went nuts with the spray. Totally untrained.

I loved the campus and my 4 years at O.U. I even stayed after graduating and taught school near Nelsonville and lived in Buchtel. What I remember of the riots was that the students wanted to stay, but so many vigilantes from out-of-state came with their guns and attitude that we were forced to close the school. We were the last State Univ to close after Kent State, B.G., Toledo etc. Remember "old man's cave", "Lake Hope"?

So sad it looks like what happened in 69. Nothing came from those riots either, except closing of the school and students forced to go home early.

From the article in the Athens messenger
'Brooks arrived and also used pepper spray to disburse what police described as a "violent and destructive" crowd.'
Never mind that we left the intersection of our own accord. The pigs just waited until we spread out and picked off the back of the parade.
Oh, and Anarchists doesn't need to be in quotes. Most of us were from the CrimethInc convergence most of us were Anarchists. It just so happens that anarchy isn't always about destruction and rioting. It's about building a better world through a diverse set of tactics. We just don't value property more than human life and rights.
