There are a LOT of differences between this and R/S. More so then the differences between crystal and G/S.
You have a cell phone now. You also get to go to a new place after you beat the game, like a whole new set of gyms. Gyms are redesigned to be more challenging both the puzzles and fights. That is just the tip of the ice berg as well. I forget all the differences but they are enough to warrant getting a hold of this game if you like R/S
