ur lucky my skips really fast and then stop and my finger goes over it again and again with nothing. But i just switched back to the touch and put it back in its box. might sell it on ebay or somehting

since the wheel is small they couldnt put enough receptors in it i guess.. just not a good ipod in my opinion. its not just mine either my friend also has the same issue.
