@juniperann Greek Pederasty as a comparison is not valid though, because in Greek times there was no age of consent and people generally only lived until around 30 years old. Older men and younger partners, both homo and heterosexual were simply part of society and it was not homosexual relationships the exclusively had adolescent partners. But yeah... ZOMG IF WE LET PEOPLE DO WHAT THEY WANT SEXUALLY THEN EVERYONE WILL TURN INTO BABY-RAPERS is the ultimate in scare tactics.

@plumespixie The historical reason they keep comparing gays to pedophiles is pederasty, which was quite common in Greek culture (the last time that being gay was acceptable in Western culture). The real reason is that child rape is the equivalent of Nazis in Godwin's Law of non-conformative sexuality. Don't like what people are doing in their bedrooms? Invoke child rape!
