whatever the case may be.. the UMWA stood behind me and the rest of my co-workers, when somthing happened, high gas readings, or falls, or when the fan broke down. we stayed up top... on the surface, somtimes for 5 hours , myself and everyone i worked with are safe because of it. the union reps pretty much ran the mine i worked at... and im truely proud of them, Illinois Dist-12 UMWA
