  • Thanks for this video! You rock dude! I already I had my heart set on the PR-35 before watching this video and you reassured me. Ordering now.

  • @SeanHylandMusic Cool,, glad it helped you... be sure to take a serious look at the RODE M1 and the EV 767 as well to round out your collection.

  • I think there is an even more important reason for recording all your voice lessons: So you can hear whether your teacher was right when he tells you something or makes you do something that you think is bullshit. When I listen back on those moments I will usually realize that he was right, and that my ears where wrong

  • @Herfinnur I TOTALLY AGREE! That is one of the reasons I am recommending it. When I trained with Maestro David Kyle... I always recorded every lesson... back then it was cassettes... but I still have those cassettes. If your truly serious, you will endeavor to archive all your lessons with your teacher. You can even sing over the top of them.

  • this video has a harsh room sound..... makes me distrust the comments of the speaker

  • @TheSpoonwood Seriously dude? This is not a video about A/V microphones and making videos... nor am I, or does it say anywhere in my online messaging that I am a film maker. We are talking about gear for singing. If I was talking about how to make great videos, I think your comment would have merit. As it is, it has no merit in my opinion. Also, I work with what I have... this is now a bit dated... these days, my sponsor, RODE micrphones has provided me with a wonderful A/V mic and a lavalier.

  • @roblunte This is odd, we already had this discussion more than a few months ago... do you remember? I don't know how this popped up again.

You didn't have Rode as a sponsor at that time (congrats), I would have commented on that.... odd

Maybe it was a private "chat" and you're re-responding ?????

Keep up the good work !! cheers , tally ho!! stiff upper lip and all !! god bless, god speed !!

  • Great video. Where did you get that notebook with the flying pen? I feel my songwriting could improve with that pen. Thanks.

  • @roblunte WELL I ACTUALLY GOT THE 767A FROM A FRIEND, AND I HAVE A BARITONE MID-HI RANGE VOICE. I WAS WONDERING HOW MUCH LOW SHOULD I CUT ?

I'VE TRIED 75HZ BUT I FEEL LIKE ITS NOT ENOUGH!! BOTH IN ANALOG MIXER AND IN DAW.
