2001 YZ 250's Really aren't that fast...

I'm 14 and I ride a crf450r. I'm 6 feet 160 pounds. My 450 tops out at 95-100 mph. I love it. I know for a fact though that the 250 is not slow. My dad owns a cr250r, yz250, and cr500r. None of the bikes we own are slow. So why you saying they're slow?

Mijaycapri79 dude your way bigger then me(: dont let the sound of that beast scare you bro. the one we own is even bored out. as long as you stay out of the powerband youll be fine. just when you start, putt around on it in 3rd. its not as snappy with lower rpms.

@shzze you dont have to believe me. its a 94 cr500 bored to a 560. ill make a video of it next time i go riding. its not what you think it is untill you ride one. its a way different feel then any dirtbike.

@AJfurtado96793 well im 13, 5'10 and 160 pounds and i ride a cr500. so it just all depends on how aggressive you are. but for starters, a 125 will be enough for you.

ya i have a 2003 yz250 and personally i think its slow. but i ride my buddies kx500af all the time so the 250 is like a pitbike to me.

The yz250 would whoop your 125 on top end, and they're pretty fast, don't know why you're callin em slow
