Randori is not a test, its a live practice you try new stuff and your goal isnt to win, shiai is a test of 2 judokas who have agreed to fight with full spirit and clean to see where your judo stands.

That's why armlocks are done with the intent to break an arm, chokes wth the intent of render unconsciouss and throws are done with force, control and speed.

If you think shiai is not judo, go ask any rokudan and up or better read The Canon of Judo by Kyuzo Mifune

Sorry but you are are beating a 90 year old dead horse. There is a big difference between SHIAI (test together) and RANDORI (free practice). In shiai you are supposed to do your techniques with a full fighting spirit in orde to test your judo against each another and as such complies with Jita Kyoei, because TOGETHER we are testing our judo, its dangerous, yes but we practice breakfalls and its completely voluntary, you dont need to enter SHIAI to advance ranks.

All SHODAN should know the two ideals of Judo: Seiryoku Zenyo and Jita Kyoei. You are clearly not even a SHODAN since you do not see that there is NO MUTUAL BENEFIT in this video, which is against Jita Kyoei.
