http://americasnewsnow.com/breaking-news Blagojevich Sentence - Rod Blagojevich Sentenced to 14 Years In Federal Prison - is it too much? After 3 years on trial, Rod Blagojevich learned he will be spending the next 14 years in prison for his attempt to sell former Illinois senator Barack Obama's vacated senate seat for $1.5 million.

The Blagojevich scandal finally comes to a close. Some critics think the sentence is too harsh but others believe it is sending a stern warning to other corrupt politicians. Blago's 14 year sentence is much less than the 30 years to life set forth by federal sentencing guidelines based on the charges.

Do you think the Blagojevich sentence is too stiff or do politicians need to get the message that the rest of the country is fed up with Chicago-style politics? Please thumbs up the video if you think the sentence is appropriate, thumbs down if you then the sentence is too stiff, and please subscribe to our channel!

  • Nobody was hurt or killed over Blagojevich, and he gets 14 years, that's more than most murderers get. Oh, and look at the Bush regime still running around free, they didn't even have to answer at all for telling the deadliest LIES in American history. As long as Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld is still at large after lying to the American public in order to get a lucrative war, why should anyone go to prison, if Bush's lies weren't wrong than nothing is.

  • @PTSD101 Regarding Bush, I think people were ticked about 911 and Iraq was a convenient scapegoat. Lucrative for some? Perhaps. But when Saddam was defeated, it was his own people that sentenced him to death for crimes against his own country. Many Americans were able to take solace in the defeat of Iraq regardless of their role in 911 or the presence of WMD's.

  • Please comment and tell us whether or not you think the sentence was too stiff or he deserved it...

  • The judge in this trial is an idiot. Politicians are always stealing, lying and trading money for favors. Ever heard of lobbying? The cops can run around killing and beating people and nothing happens. Trillions lost on Wall Street, literally thousands of lives ruined, and ot convictions Obviously, the judges in Illinois are dumbas the electorate. I feel very sorry for his wife and kids.

  • @detroyes2 Wow, 4, really? That is pretty bad. I guess thats where they get the name Chicago style politics..

  • @ERROLCUSTERFLYNN4EVR You make a good point and I dont disagree but did you see what @detroyes2 said?

  • @ERROLCUSTERFLYNN4EVR Your Mom must be very proud she raised such a polite, respectful child. OMG...God help her.

  • @reidstheman You've gotta be kidding me. 1st of all, Caswey Anthony was found NOT guilty...thus no sentences. Blagojevich was foud guilty on 17 counts of corruption. He deserves every bit of this and more. Probation or community service? Unbelievable!

  • not stiff enough should be life
