she had an amazing personality n she really acted in animals planet man vs beast. I think the wanted to get a really big elephant in one challenge but couldn't so they used gaboury.

@ChuckHitler I agree, using Gabourey Sidibe is a risky and such a meaning step for the producers to take. But I think it is what the story is all about, it's not about the glamorus world, it's about the truth of the society. It's really nice to see something more fruitful on TV:) Plus, I don't think the producers could have find other people to play the role anyways, Gabourey Sidibe matches the role perfectly.
ps. I really love her real personalities;)

@SalemSaberhagen1 I have lost all my fats . How . Its very simple. i dont mean to sound rude, but i'm curious as to how she got the main part because if you think about it, the media is so shallow these days if Gabourey would've audition for any other meaningless blockbuster, she wouldn't have gotten the part no matter how much shes proven herslef as an actress.
i think its amazing that this movie didnt waste their time trying to look pretty and just spoke the truth. we need more movies like that-im getting sick of this kristen stewart and megan fox shit
