Enjoy! :D

Hair tips:

I have naturally straight, limp, fine hair so I added mouse/thickening spray to damp hair for some texture and body, blowed it dry upside down, for lift, and then crimped my whole head. I let that cool and then brushed it out.

I started with a generous teased section, on the top of my head, with hairspray and a fine tooth comb. I then pinned in a shower puff. You may need a couple to get the height you're going for. You're going to use a lot of hairspray and bobby pins. lol The teased section will help the puff stay in place. The netting is also great for the pins to grip into.

Then small layer by layer, you'll add pieces around the puff and pin into it. Hairspray, as you see fit, as you go along. Depending on how long your hair is, you may have to drape the extra length over the puff, and pin on the other side. I believe I also teased each section gently. not too much. You don't want it to look like a rat's nest. lol

You'll want about a nice amount of hair, not teased, around the perimeter of your hairline, to cover any teased nastyness. lol Pin in, where you can.

Freeze hairspray will work nicely. :D Gently shake your head as you go along, to see if it is secure, as well, before you keep adding.

It may take a couple times, but the results are worth it. :D

I hope this helps. :D

  • My six year old daughter and I checked out your tutorial after I showed her the trailer for Bride of Frankenstein. She's HOOKED! Loves your videos...she's such a girly girl anyway. Thanks for posting your videos!!

  • I really liked your videos for Bride of Frankenstein. My 6 year old wants to be bride of Frankenstein and I just was not sure I could do it. But you made it very simple on how to do it. Do you have a video of you doing your hair?? I am not knowledgeable of how to do stuff with hair. I actually had to ask someone what a "tease" was. LOL.
