Felix Jones, Darren McFadden and Peyton Hillis: Best running game in the history of NCAAF. Imagine if Arkansas only had Darren McFadden taking 30 carries a game? He would have had 7,000 yards. Felix Jones actually took many yards away from McFadden over their tenures.

Felix was not better than McFadden. His YPC had to do with the fact that opponents were either tired when Arkansas leaned on him in the 4th quarter, or were keying on McFadden. Great back, but not better.

My son played middle school school ball with Felix and Robert Meachum (All pro w/Saints WR) I have watched Felix and Robert since the 7th grade...I never understood Houston NUtt. Felix was clearly the better back. Felix got half the carries but still gained 2/3 the yards Mcfadden did. 9.6 yds per carry career in the SEC...That record will never be broken. I know that Emmitt came out of the SEC but if Felix had been given the chance with the Hogs...he would have been the most prolific back in SEC

felix was always my fav over mc fadden but..... mc fadden may have been better but jones has the best field vision since reggie bush!!

i believe between the times of 2004-2006 is when the real talent was in college football where everyone was interested in it darren mcfadden reggie bush vince young jones drew etc those were the years

He doesn't have amazing straight line speed, and I don't know if he's the quickest but holy crap I don't think I've ever seen a running back that can change direction as fast as him. The run that starts right before the 8:00 mark where he cuts in the hole and cuts outside before anyone even reacts is proof of that. What an unbelievable talent. Thanks for the three years Felix.

As much as I like seeing him play for the Cowboys, I really wish he'd have stayed for his senior year at Arkansas. You know, just to see what would've happened while McFadden was busy stealing money from tthe Raiders.
