wow!! Just awesome..What a wonderful time in our lives..Broke my heart to hear Donny speak of all the pain her endured during his career. So glad to see he came full circle and realized that the ones who loved him in the beginning are the ones who love him still...after all these years :)

In Southern Africa back in 1975 this was a hit single for local artists Jody Wayne & Lara Lynn. Jody Wayne was the one who in 1973 composed a song called LITTLE JIMMY which was a young girl's ode to Jimmy Osmond and went to No 1 on the Southern African charts back then

My brother use to make me sing Marie's part while he sung Donny's when we were younger lol...of course he would be so frustrated with me because I could never hit the high notes...or any notes for that matter!!!

I always thought this song was about an older woman in love with a younger man...
She being on the twilight side of the hill (older) and he on the morningside of the mountain(younger).. Am I way off base here??? Not meaning distance but meaning age of each.
