you can pretty much figure out all the parts by looking at the pics, i used mostly black pegs, and i also dont know how long the rods are. and most if not all are common parts. http://img.photobuc...

I tried a few times to make an iPod dock out of legos but never had it to my liking. I juse use an old Ice Breakers Containter. I haven't go around to getting it to work like a real dock, but it works fine as a stand when plugged in my stereo.
