those other guys are wrong. It actually originated from Jamaica. It was used more as a dance than a fighting style. Im not sure who was responsible for that transaction

capoeira originated from african slaves being transported from africa to brazil to work in sugarcane farms. hence from brazil :) it was hidden as a dance, same as you can see okinawan karate and filipino kali used dance to hide thier fighting styles

u underestimate that style completely. irl its deadly, its one of the most random fighting styles, the strikes are more powerful than almost any punch, and u have no clue where the next hit will be coming from, as an experienced fighter, and have seen true capoeria master fight. i can be most certain that u have no clue what ure talking about, and most likely havent even seen a real capoeria fight, no doubt fought one, or even been in a real fight. though a newbie caporia fighter would get pwnd.
