You are as lost as the other sheep in your fold. Go find your shepherd - within you.

We should all wish to be so lost as Oprah! She is brilliant. The Universe is wise and knew to place a woman of her ilk in such a position of power, such that she can help the world discover the depth of God. Religion is blinding, teaching nothing but propaganda. We should all give praise that we have such a wonderful teacher, such a enlightened soul, to inspire the world. It is normal for darkness to look upon the light with disdain.

Is that what you realized? I see.

@massage33316 Hahahahahahahaha. Universe is wise??? Religion is blinding??? Teaching propoganda??? When you open your mouth, do you always lie? You got is ALL wrong. Universe is not wise. The government is blinding and teaching propoganda. But, after reading your post, I realised you must be one of those "special needs" children that hugs trees and smokes grass.

Indeed, life is about choice. Out of opposites (exclusivity) comes oneness (inclusivity). From the energy of differences (hatred, fear, attachments), we evolve into the energy of sameness (compassion, love, impartiality). The capacity for evil and the capacity for good exists in each soul. When we truly understand this, we guard ourselves from pride and practice compassion. This is the very essence of Christ consciousness.

@massage33316 Every person chooses what to them is righteous. You are a very intelligent person and you choose what you think is righteous. That is all there is to it. We choose our ways and choose what paths we take. You take one side, I take the other. There will always be opposites. What some people consider good can be evil, and what some people consider evil can be good. It is within our minds that we choose what we want and what we don't want. You're a good person and I respect you.

The media can be biased, but it can also be informative. I think the better course of action is not necessarily to eliminate XYZ, but rather to hone our skills of discernment by learning from our own lives. What is not empowering you spiritually, block it out. What is bringing you into harmony, embrace it. As far as the comment "TV is bad", I will leave you with this: fire can consume, or it can enlighten - in and of itself, it is neither bad nor good.

@massage33316 It all depends on the person. I myself don't watch TV. In fact, I haven't watched much TV for a couple of weeks. But it seems so ignorant that Oprah agrees that kids are allowed to have a sex-change and be fine with it. That to me is just disgusting. A lot of my reasons for not watching much TV is because most of the media brain washes us. Telling us who's ugly and who's beautiful, telling men to treat women like whores, saying violence is a good thing, etc. In my mind, TV is bad.
Are you really ok with being wholly subservient to a being that was dreamt up by man in an attempt to personify the creation of the universe?
gamblorn 2 years ago
@gamblorn I believe that God created the universe and everything that is in it. Think about it. Have you read any on intelligent design? Do you think that all of this just happened? That is more unbelieveable than God.

@bluetwix1 I believe in God too, but not in the context that you do. I define "God" as whatever made the first push in the creation of the universe. To think that it was some magical omnipotent being is shortsighted. To think that it was the father of Jesus, that's even MORE shortsighted. Do you honestly think that people 2000+ years ago knew more about the creation of the universe than we do now? You gotta be kidding me. But go ahead and kneel to the sky, I'll continue to stand.

@gamblorn We all have to choose our own paths. I kneel because I choose to kneel but in the the end you will kneel because you will have to kneel. Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

@bluetwix1 I won't kneel, and I sure as hell won't confess. Have a terrific day!

@gamblorn We will have to agree to disagree. You be blessed.
