Thank you for this lovely tribute. When I was a little girl I had an enormous crush on him. I had no idea he had such a volume of work. He was an excellent actor and I never felt he got the credit due. Such a voice. He passed on Sept. 17th.

@taroman7100 I do have a crush on him now! Those blue eyes, that voice and above all, that talent! I invite you to check some of his early work here in my channel. Tension, Time Limit, Fixed Bayonets! all wonderful performances by a younger Basehart.

Thankyou very mush, I really admired Richard Basehart when I was a little boy, I used to never miss Voyage to Bottom of Sea on Saturday Morning. He really made the show. His earlier work you show here is supurb also. Thakyou again.

Bravo! I did not think anyone else out there remembered Richard basehart and how wonderful he was during the '50s-'60s.

@alameda1212 Thanks for your comment. It's a pity Mr. Basehart isn't better known now, but his wonderful performances are still out there to be enjoyed by younger generations.
