This kinetic sculpture is driven by a weight, similar to a grandfather clock. It runs automatically for two hours. At the end of two hours the weight is moved from one side to the other and it runs in reverse for two hours. The two hours are divided into 6 twenty second cycles of spinning and rocking. At the end of a twenty minute cycle, it detects zero motion and automatically restarts itself. It is silent (other than the few seconds of spin up) and meditative.
