  • Can I use this technique to replace a portion of core/plywood on my transom?

  • @kousni I'd strongly suggest you replace the entire core in the transom. It's really tough to tell the extent of the rot without really cutting into and around the area. If it's a very small area you may be able to get away with it however in the end you could just be prolonging the inevitable.

  • They are an industry leader in epoxy. Yes, they are a good product.

  • this was incredibly helpful. thank you so much for posting. Do you have any videos or advice for attaching oarlocks to a small fiberglass sailboat. I would like to permanently attach the oarlocks but do not wish to compromise the strength on my little boat or risk exposing the core to moisture.
