that cloth part is called cote d'arms or wappen. that thing on her shoulder is just a decoration imo.

I wouldnt recomend switching to reverse grip in mid-fight, shield bash, revers cut might (and most times will) disarm you. But very nice fighting style afterall :-)

I wanted to thank all of you, who have commented this vid.

Our group studies martial arts in respect of tradition, but bringing also new innovative features in. Our studying group is composed by different athletes who have studied different martial arts, both western and oriental. Some of us have also fought in full contact encounters.

Our way to do martial arts is related to art (choreographies for didactic purposes and of course esthetics), to the study of techniques...

@LMMEjsmith Not at all. I was just amazed at the things people(myself included) can miss sometimes. Rather funny if you think about it. It's too bad there are those that concentrate on the word "art" in martial arts and forget the word "martial".
