http://www.ntv.co.ke Danger lurks in the tonnes of garbage dumped daily in Dandora.. tonight in part two of our series, dumpsite of death, Mark Maasai meets some of those who think moving the dumpsite would be bad for business.
Poor Kenyans. I am even ashamed of being of being one but i think these people who are earning a living through other people should be jailed. They are risking people's lives. It is time we look at the long negative externalities of production and consumption instead of the short term benefits.
Let's do our part to help save the planet by buying plastic Christmas Trees to decorate this year instead of real trees. Remember, trees produce oxygen so that we can breathe! There is a new video that we just uploaded and need for you to pass along showing how precious our trees are. Forward that video to as many people as you can! Remember to subscribe so that we can send you new videos when they arrive. See you there!
all I can say make the dumpsite more like an industrial recycling centre, with health and safety being enforced. then these guys making a living out of it can work in a more healthy enviroment. But will the city council or the government do anything? hell no.
