Chicken ll Jemi One-Shot for Easter

I thought this was a nice idea and acutally I had no idea what to write so I just started with something and in the middle of it I got an idea and well... see if you like how it turned out because I think it's not THAT bad ^^

Jemi One-Shot:

I leaned my head against his shoulder and sighed while I looked at the TV a little more. "So what do you want to so?" I asked him and he shrugged his shoulders. You see Joe and I were sitting in the living room watching TV. It was Easter and we had a week of from collage but since my parents went on vacation Joe and I decided to stay here. We were bored like hell because normally our other roomie we had went home to visit her family. Joe looked like he was thinking, hard. I looked at his lips again, they were so tempting and I just wanted to kiss him, but I couldn't Joe had a girlfriend since over 2 years already and I couldn't like him because he only was my best friend. I bit my lip when he turned towards me to look at me. I opened my mouth and said at the same time as him. "I have to tell you something" We cracked a laugh and Joe looks at the TV again before he jumps up and walks in the kitchen
"C'mon" He suddenly pulled me up by my hand. "Joe where are we going?" He grabbed the keys for his car and pulled me out of our apartment. I knew Joe since a year now, we met well when I moved into the apartment. Joe, me and Chelsea were all going to the same collage. Chelsea was our other roomie. She had been here before me.
"Where are we going?" I ask again but he doesn't answer be before we are in the car.
It was late in the afternoon and there were families as we drove out of town and soon we stood in the middle of a field and I only looked at him questioning what we were doing here.
Suddenly he pulls out a few eggs, that we had painted yesterday night when we remembered we didn't have some.
"What are you doing with them?" He smiled and laughed. "We are going to throw them, the one whose eye goes bust has to tell the other what he wanted to say first. I laughed a little, I couldn't believe he drove here all the way just so we could tell each other what we wanted to say. I knew what I wanted to say was important because I finally wanted to tell him how much more I liked him as a best friend. How much I noticed I love him over the year. But I really hoped his egg would break instead of mine.

I took it in my shaking hands and Joe smiled over at me. "Ready?" I nodded and we threw the legs, Joe's went farther away then mine. "I will get yours, you get mine" I told him and started to run, hoping his egg broke. I reached his egg and fuck... it wasn't broken.. now I really hoped mine wasn't either. Joe ran over to me and showed me the broken egg that was the one I threw. I gulped and looked at him. "C'mon tell me you looked so serious when you said you had to tell me something"
I took another deep breath and looked in his eyes before I looked down and blushed. "Joe... that's not easy to say because then everything will be so awkward between us but... I just have to say... I know you have a girlfriend back home but fuck Joe... I love you." I looked away not bearing to meet his eyes. He takes a step forward. His hand brush along my cheek and lifts my chin up and I look in his eyes. "I love you Demi" He whispers and leans in to kiss me. My eyes wide from shock, he loved me back? But how?
"Vanessa and I broke up a month ago" He whispers and I push him slightly away. "Why didn't you tell me?" "Because... I don't know since last year, since I met you you aren't getting out of my head. I wanted to be more with you but I promised Vanessa I would be faithful and we were just falling apart, I didn't see her in months and then you went on a date and I realized that I could lost you way too soon, I broke up with her over the phone, she took it hard but understood. I love you" He whispers and I start to cry while I wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him deep. I felt him kiss back in seconds, and he pulled me closer to him only to pull away for a few seconds to kiss me. "Your egg didn't break" He whispers. "I broke it because I wanted you to talk first" I gasp and push him a little before I kiss him again. "Chicken" "Your chicken" "That's right"
