I'm an American and I still agree with you. (Though I'm one of the ones that are earth-friendly) The thing is is that Bush was supported by the major gas companies, so he wasn't going to do anything about it. Americas needs to get off their * hindquarters and put in cleaner energies like wind, solar, wave, and AirCAR technologies.

I'll explain. Bears awake early because of global warming. Global warming is a matter of politics. USA is the biggest carbon-dyoxide emitter, they are the only major nation that didn't ratify the Kyoto protocol. Americans are to be blamed for polar bears' early awake! ;)
