The founding fathers knew the benefits, and consequences, of the 2nd Amendment. In their own day, they saw firearms falling into the hands of criminals through rouge merchants. Indians were regarded back then as we gangs and drug cartels today. They gave us the Second Amendment because they feared future tyrants more than armed criminals or Indians. It was the lesser of evils.
The Founding fathers sought to prevent the rise of tyranny by enabling the lawful arming of its citizenry.

so just because I own 10 guns, means I'm going to kill someone? I have owned all kinds of guns since i was 18, and have owned a shotgun since the age of 8. I do believe that there should be some type of test involved, but sociopaths are smart enough to answer questions of a moral nature in such a way that it would not seem like they have ill intentions. I will never give up my guns, i could care what anyone on this planet says. i will never give them up.

How is this guy even running on the Republican ticket? And they accuse Ron Paul of being a liberal... He's more of a Republican than any of those other guys.
