@dippjon yes, a truly remarkable band, and they sound as good today as they did in the 80's, and continue writing good material. maybe they didn't sell as many records as U2, but in my mind they are th better band

What a treasure--the original lineup, as good as ever, playing one of the most haunting songs ever written, in my opinion. They are timeless--and I agree they are as good as U2. Jamie's guitar playing is pure elegance and emotion.

The Fixx; as good if not better than U2. Cy is definately a better lyricist..... more emotion & creativity. Bono has his moments of horrendous babble. Bono could sing a nursery rhyme and it would sell millions! Not that U2 is a mediocre band, it's just I find it hard to take someone seriously who lives in a 20-bedroom mansion!
