I wrote this piece after a sad breakup with a long time girlfriend. I really put a lot of emotion into it and I hope it shows in the music.

This song tells the story of a monk from a small village who leaves his temple and travels into the mountains. He gets caught in a storm and is killed, but for his bravery and spirit, he transcends his mortal body and sees the world from high above, in all its beauty.

This song is a mixture of traditional chinese playing and modern instruments. All instruments written and performed by me except the violin part, which was played by my friend James. His channel can be found at http://www.youtube.com/user/Jamesznw Go send him some love if you like his playing.
