  • WOW. I have a layout but making it longer from 4x8 to 4x16. is there a book on how and where to run your lights. I have many turnout and want to run lights for it and more lights as signal as well can you help me. Rodney_Martin65@yahoo.com I can send you more on my easy layout but Atlas. layout HO-25 Great Eastern Trunk.

  • @stephen65la

I would go to your local train hobby shop and take a look at thier how to book section. Last time I went in I saw a book on lighting for layouts, if I happen to go back in there I will get you the name of the book!

  • how did you do this, did you do it by manual or did it do it automatically if it does how?

  • @tjseid

the lights are switch automaticly they go through a computer that runs jmri with special logic customly written in to tell where a train is, what the switches are set for and is there a train in front of it. The lights will switch accordingly to the conditions. I will do a quick video demostrating this

  • are you using digitrax? if not what system

  • @tjseid

for DCC operations we are using NCE for the signals we are using Digitrax hardware and jmri software

  • Ilove train

  • I would suggest magnet mounting the signals. If somebody knocks into the bridge, its going to break. BLMA already overcharges for those signals, breaking it would not be good.

  • What kind of track is that?

  • No resistors?
