2.9L Whipple @ 16psi of boost, Kooks Long Tubes with matching X-pipe w/ Hi-Flo Cat's, two 18" long resonators & two MagnaFlow XL series mufflers, stock tips, 3.73 gears. 651rwhp. Set-up and Tuned by Alternative Auto Perf. in Chesterfield, mi.

  • @halohadel it may slow it down but its still much quicker than diesel. diesel doesnt raise the rpms as fast as gas will.

  • @TheGaucho2 Octane in gasoline is made to slow the combustion rate down. This keeps the shock wave from going super sonic. A fast, quick explosion is NOT what you want in gasoline.

  • @adamslurch71 diesel is slow combustion... creating an intense pressure in the cylinder causing strong torque. gas is quick, kind of like hitting a nail on the head it has an explosive reaction. sports engines need quick responding fuel to reach high rpms very quickly. diesel, though it may put out more torque, its not as quick responding. get yo facts straight.

    I seriously doubt you have a 9 second Mercedes, but then again I seriously doubt you have a 9 second truck!

  • @ESPsandEmgs Ok sure if thats what you want to believe hen by all means go right ahead. Its doesn't matter to me that you would lose a race against my big slow truck, or hell how about I match you car for car than? a 1982 Mercedes with a twin turbo 6BT should make quick work of any ford product you bring my way.
