Not exactly, it's Aristotelean, and a lot of it deals with reason. How to live reasonably, in accordance with human nature.

Don't celebrate too much. The Gen Chem 2 final will implicitly include most of the Gen Chem 1, concepts. And you go over just as much material and more in 16 weeks than you did in one year before.
Analytic chemistry and organic chemistry also include gen chem concepts. You're always being implicitly tested on the previous course material if it is a prerequisite to the next class.

@funsizedchoco I'm hoping for a WS rematch so that my Phills can prove their mettle.
Organic chemistry is great yet it sucks. In order to understand the really fascinating shit that's going on, you need at least two years of rote memorization. But once you know the 'language' of chemistry, it's a pure delight.
It's one of my favorite books and I love to pass it on.
Please don't take this the wrong way, but I totally <3 U and believe that you're the future of US.
