I Still Remember

I posted this video a long time ago and took it down. Out of spite, out of hurt..I'm still not sure. I'm putting it up now because I am tired of erasing memories. You were a big part of my life. As our relationship ended I took you for granted and I lost you. For that I am truly sorry. This is a memory and I still remember. Closure is hard to get, but with some time things start to settle and the dust from all the days spent faded and blacked out start to disappear. It's a shame that we as people only start to appreciate things when they are gone or taken away from you, but it happens. I'm not running away from it anymore. I'm embracing it. I promised myself that I will try my hardest to treat whoever I'm with the best that I can and to love them with all my heart. I miss you julianne and want nothing but the best for you. Even if that means not being a part of your life. Thank you, for everything you have done for me.

I can fully relate to your description. I recently got out of a (almost) 4 year relationship. All we can really do is embrace the good memories and learn from our mistakes. It's sad how we often take those closest to us for granted.
