@Filip2828 The potential for moderate to severe turbulence hear CV's makes this the reason for slowing the aircraft and maintaining the stability while near the storms.

When we were flying over to Brunei, there was a really bad monsoon at the time and we had HORRIBLE weather. The wings were flexing something like 15ft, the plane was shaking and dropping incredibly and the lightning outside was so close, that every now and then, the whole cabin would light up (It was at night and even with the cabin light) One of the worst things i remember was the nose of the plane taking a sudden pitch downwards, dropping and staying there for like 30 seconds. I was terrified!
