It's the night before my surgery and I'm having rhinoplasty done by Dr. Nassif.

I'm a little scared but also excited. I'm having this procedure to improve my breathing and also fix the hump on my nose.

I've always felt that my side profile didn't match how I looked from the front.

The staff at Dr. Nassif's office helped me go to the next step and the next step is my surgery.

The goal of rhinoplasty is to improve the nose aesthetically (without creating a surgical look) in order to create harmony with other facial features.

Scheduling your surgery

There are a few factors to consider when you are scheduling your rhinoplasty surgery.

Are you having your surgery done for a special event a wedding, graduation or reunion? Be sure to plan on having your procedure several months in advance. It may take anywhere from six months to a year for swelling to go down. Everyones healing is different.

If you need to take time off of work or school, consider scheduling surgery at the end of the week, so you have an extra weekend to recover.
