The National Fencing Academy combines focussed training for fencers aged 14 - 20 to develop technical, tactical, physical and mental fundamentals for fencing. The Academy also is a place to develop coaches, referees, volunteers and armourers to nationally recognised standards and open to all in the UK.

For fencers in the north and Scotland, there is an Academy based in the SUNEE universities of Durham, Newcastle, Northumbria, Sunderland and Teesside.
For fencers in the Midlands, there is an academy based at Birmingham.
