With my iPod touch 2g firmware 4.2 IT DOESN´T WORK!!
i dont know why but it makes nothing

Hey man do you know how to detect collisions while using the accelerometer. Like you know you have a ball that is being controlled by the accelerometer and if that ball that hits another ball a alert comes out. i know CGRectIntercectRect but somehow while using the accelerometer it dosen't work
