Runaway Bay "Going for Gold" Part1

Runaway Bay was a children's adventure series set on the island of Martinique. It was broadcast in the early 1990s. This episode (in three parts) is the first appearance of Jade Magri as Zoe but lacking some others of the main cast. It is posted in response to requests from people to see it again. I can put up another episode with the other cast members if anyone is interested, since the series seems to have vanished and has never been available on vhs or dvd.

I'm so thrilled to see these! My son was Dion (the American) in the series and all the copies we have are the UK format so his kids haven't been able to see this until now. If anyone has any other episodes, I'd love to see them : )

I never thought about the cast when I uploaded these episodes. They're all grown up now of course and maybe, like "Dion", have children of their own.

FWIW I've also got a few episodes rescued from VHS... With this being episode one from series two I'll see if I can get episode two "Race Like The Wind" uploaded. It may take some time though as I'll have to edit it first, and I can only do that when I have some free time available. Anyway I'll see what I can do.

God I loved this series. I must have been about 13 when I saw this on ITV! Am 31 now....god the years!

was the best detective childre serie TKKG and famouse five wher not so good but this one was seriouse and more action inside
