  • This is one of the worst runs I have ever seen. Using all of the cheats your emulator has to offer and hiding it really bad. A real speedrun is done on a NES and actually takes skill to perform. This TAS can be done by anyone with the same tools.

I made a 42 min speedrun back in 1993 when most people didn't think it was possible to beat the game in under an hour. Things were more hardcore back then when you needed a VRC to record your runs :P

First of all "Metroids" are the floating-green-sucking-jellyfish-with-teeth from the game those you see at 7:05. The character you mean is named "Samus" and she's not wearing a suit because of a "secret" resume code (00000 00020 00000 00020) (still remember it :) ) you can enter when starting the game.

  • que puta xD translate

  • Not saying it's a tas is pretty lame.

  • why did the peoples disliking this everytime?

  • @RyuhasNERV I don't think he was hiding the fact that it's a TAS.. That's pretty obvious.. Sould have stated it though.. AND given credit to the real person who made the run!

  • 99999 99999 KKKKK KKKKK is a pretty easy code to remember

  • So u beat the game by cheating ? Fucking lame ...you my sir are a virgin

  • @pingasingable thats because you didn't play it back in the day, if you played halo 1 for the first time(not anniversary edition the original) you would find it boring as shit, this game along with the first legend of zelda were some of the most epic games out when they were new

  • @powertomato the code dosent work

  • @raciid

First of all, it's a TAS (tool assisted) video, see : tasvideos(dot)org/326M.html

Secondly, yes hiding the fact that this is a TAS gameplay is not fair, I'm okay with you.

But! In my mind, TAS video are an other way to see the game, it's kinda fun to watch. It shows some usefull/fun glitches.

So yes it's different from a superplay, only an idiot will disagree this. But it's not less "hardcore". Usually, people who make TAS work with/are the best superplayer of the TAS video's game

  • It seems to be a TAS not a speedrun.
