  • I think the reason brian and roger didn't sing much lead is because freddie would feel left out. Yes he could play the guitar and piano, but he never thought he was very good at either (even though he totally was). Like the song sleeping on the sidewalk, fred didn't participate at all, brian sang, played guitar and composed, roger played drums, and john put in a few bass notes. freddie did nothing on that song, so I can see where he could feel left out
