  • @boxing238 MPs! Members of parliament. Who invented parliament? Answer- Britain!

Maori MPs- who allowed Maoris to be MPs? Answer- Britain!

Every white man in New Zealand owes everything to Britain, yet we do not ask for anything in return. How about this- stop trashing our country and appreciate our alliance a bit more. The Maoris didn't even have history before Britain arrived; they did not record anything on paper.

  • @TheLiberalKnight you obviously havnt heard of the maori party or the mana party and the many maori MPs

  • @TheLiberalKnight australia have nothing in common with aboriginals there only 1% of australias population i wouldnt be surprised if an aussie has never seen an aborigine but in new zealand maori culture plays a big part in new zealand "white immigrants, have more in common with native aborignals, who have had no part whatsoever in the constitutions of your countries" maori have played a part in how new zealand in run have you not heard of the treaty of waitangi

  • @boxing238 I'm just tired of Australians and New Zealanders acting as if they, white immigrants, have more in common with native aborignals, who have had no part whatsoever in the constitutions of your countries, than the motherland Britain from which they came!

Never forget that Britain and the commonwealth have been the most successful civilization in human history. If you want to pretend you owe it all to Kangeroo munching Aboriginals, so be it.

  • @TheLiberalKnight now you are saying "we dont owe anything to anyone, we are the same people" but you just said in your previous comment "I'm sick of New Zealanders and Australians trying to pretend they owe nothing to Britain" you say one thing then you go and say something completly different stop contradicting yourself

  • @boxing238 We don't owe anything to anyone, we are the same people. The same people in different parts of the world.

You said that the New Zealanders have more in common with the Maori than the British. That statement is stupid beyond belief. You are British immigrants and you shouldn't be hostile to your brothers and sisters over here.

  • @TheLiberalKnight i never said new zealand owes nothing to britain but new zealand doesnt owe everything to britain

  • @boxing238 Where did your parliament come from? Where did your laws come from? Where did your culture come from? 70% of New Zealand are British immigrants. The moment your Irish ancestor stepped foot into the British New Zealand colony, he became British, end of story. I'm sick of New Zealanders and Australians trying to pretend they owe nothing to Britain. You owe everything to Britain. Maoris didn't even record history before the British arrived there.

  • @TheLiberalKnight of coarse new zealanders have more in common with maoris ive never been to britain but my friends are maori i was born in the same country as maoris and the all blacks do a haka so do the kiwis(new zealand rugby league team) half the new zeland national anthem is sung in maori you get taught maori in primary school and have the option of doing maori instead of english to get your literacy credits im not even of british decent im of irish decent
