Every white man in New Zealand owes everything to Britain, yet we do not ask for anything in return. How about this- stop trashing our country and appreciate our alliance a bit more. The Maoris didn't even have history before Britain arrived; they did not record anything on paper.

The moment your Irish ancestor stepped foot into the British New Zealand colony, he became British, end of story. @TheLiberalKnight of coarse new zealanders have more in common with maoris ive never been to britain but my friends are maori i was born in the same country as maoris and the all blacks do a haka so do the kiwis(new zealand rugby league team) half the new zeland national anthem is sung in maori you get taught maori in primary school and have the option of doing maori instead of english to get your literacy credits im not even of british decent im of irish decent
