  • What's the best group of people to begin with if you've had little or no experience?

  • @mole90man NOOBS!

  • You need FRAPS to be able to record gameplay onto video, and some video editing software (such as Windows Live Movie Maker).

  • Hi! Skirmishers are useful against ranged units (archers, hand cannoneers, chu ko nu, etc.) since they sport an awesome pierce armour and have attack bonus against archers. They are only useful in mass (very cheap to train) and as meat shields if you expect an enemy to use ranged units, if not they can be avoided since you will be better off using your population limit with stronger units such as cavalry. Thanks for watching.

  • i'm trying 2 be a byzantium expert can u tell me wht is good for byzantium i mean wht troops 2 build defences etc

  • @ysdragonman Defensively they are the best civ together with the Turks since they have access to the maximum amount of technologies, which means bombard towers and the like. When attacking use cataphracts, research Logistics so they inflict trample damage which means they attack multiple adjacent enemy units at once) together with halberdiers: cataphracts massacre infantry thanks to their unique bonus while halberdiers will make mincemeat of enemy cavalry. Back with scorpion/onager support.

  • @mole90man

it doesnt matter which civilization you use, every one has its strengths and weaknesses, the mroe you loose the more you learn

  • its very fun to have 2 allies and 1 enemy on ps2(single player) with max resources and post-imperial age

    also all techs researched

if you get a great map it will be very fun, especially against byzants

and the best civ is teh guys who make elephants

  • @mole90man try chinese or bzantines, teotons r good to Im average and i am always the aztecs lol

  • Clever indeed

  • -_- why people love black forest so much, i'll never know! it's a novice's map for crying out loud! No walling scheme involved, no side attacking? Gold rush would be an impressive map ^.^, as it demands strategy including fighting for the gold in mid :).

  • @fatnanny84 Thanks
