  • YES,

NO cost control mechanism (Strong Public Option) + Individual mandate + Fine (fees) = Another multi-billion dollar Bailout/ stimulus Bill for the private health care industry EVERY YEAR

it is as simple as pie.

  • I DO NOT like the Baucus bill. I think individual mandates are a BAD idea and if his reform package passes I may switch parties;-) Not really, but he should be a republican, not a Democrat. His bill only serves the insurance companies and not the people. The public option - pooled with private insurance for the uninsured and then companies can put in bids. That's competition and is substainable.

  • Nice job.

We DEFINITELY need a public option.

    Olberman said it best...

Think if it as medicare for everyone.

  • Wasn't Olbermann's Commentary aweseome? Thanks so much for the feedback.

  • Very good. Shelsi looks just like you!!

  • Poor girl;-) LOL. Just kidding. That's definitely a compliment to me.

  • oh lol sorry :-)

  • You misunderstood my post.

I am in total agreement with you.

  • Im sorry but i fail to see how universal health care is a bad thing. Its sad that people have to sell everything they have and live on the streets just to get a surgery to save their life. Yet in other countries they dont because of good health care. You are fine with paying lots of money that shouldnt have to be spent? Seems you are on the wrong side.

In cuba an inhaler costs less then 50 cents, yet in the US the same medicine costs almost $200. How exactly is that a good thing?

  • Good VO, good story, amazing pics. I would cross dissolve them into eachother so show a flow of transformation.

Hopefully we can transform the state of our dismal healthcare system!

  • I can understand how the US doesnt have universal health care. Pretty much all other devoleped countries have it and it is working out good. Its pretty sad to see the "big tough" country of the world treat their citizens so poorly.
