This is believed to be the last televised interview with John "Bonzo" Bonham (drummer - Led Zeppelin) who sadly died on 25/09/80.
Oddly, the interview was conducted by Billy Connolly. It's rather short - Bonzo didn't like interviews much!

  • You wouldn't think so by looking at him, but Bonzo could kill me 5 times before I hit the ground using only his drum sticks.

  • his second question needed to be 'who the fuck is a better drummer than you'

There is a full length version of this and it sucks as much as this.

One of the kids in the background has to complete Connally's sentence for him (saying the word "proceedings") and Connally then says..."I don't think this (the interview) has proceeded very far" and he concludes everything by saying something like 'at least the bar is still open'.

In retrospect. it's a shame for Bonham's last filmed interview (& they were rare) that he only gave 2-word answers to lame questions.

  • @pajasa62 I'm not saying the 47 seconds we see here don't suck, they suck terrifically. But the rest of the interview might have picked up, who knows?

  • @Stiletto92

    Absolutely!

When Connally says "how long did it take you to do this?" I nearly pissed in my pants.

    Give it a rest....this sucks.

  • @pajasa62 i think thekenfig might actually be on to something. I mean, billy connelly IS a comedian, so it's quite plausible that the interview is done for comedy's sake

  • he is adorable i love bonzo so much

  • This is just a clip of the full interview to advertise it. I'd love to see the full version.

  • I love Bonzo! :3

  • It's still John Henry Bonham. I love him...Always will, whoever interviews him (I thought it was funny for the time and place). I guess you had to be there...(I wasn't) but could imagine.

  • @pajasa62 Never mind eh ? ; you're too uptight about it now

  • @TheKenfig

    Worked up about it?

    YOU contacted ME....OK?

I just gave an opinion...you tried to masquerade nonsense something as fact.
