If you pinch the knees together and apply top pressure he won't be able to pull out. I prefer to use plan B first. most times when you play against an experienced fighter he won't let you base up on your hands. he'll push the pass. Threatening the arm makes him sit back to defend then you can sit up. play with it and see if it works for you.
