Tiny (left) and Toya's new series debuted after the 2009 BET Awards, if anyone was still awake to see it
(BlackPress.org) - Whenever BET releases a new programming note announcing a new show, I always hold my breath. After all, this is the network that dropped Teen Summit, fired Tavis Smiley, and green-lighted "Hot Ghetto Mess." Needless to say, I didn't expect much from the reality TV airing on BET featuring Antonia Toya Carter the ex-wife of Lil Wayne and T.I.'s current fiance, Tameka "Tiny" Cottle.
Surprisingly, after watching a sneak preview or two of "Tiny & Toya," I was pleasantly surprised that the show less than a reality show, but more like a documentary. From the first beat, I loved that the raw emotion of Toya is allowed to show.
Every year, I pay out of my own pocket to pull off the Girls Empowerment Brunch that allows young girls to see the other side of hip hop and look past the media's influence. The impression I had from both Toya and Tiny was uplifted by their deep honesty and ability to make keeping it real more than a played out phrase. This show is one that I wouldn't hesitate to show to the young girls that attend our brunch or to recommend to our viewership.
Simply put, Tiny & Toya is a very special product that finally puts BET in a good light. This is so good for young girls to see because it doesn't sugar coat the loss that most women feel after the thug loving is gone.

Hear from Grand Hustle's leading man, Jason Jeter, T.I.'s attorneys and his fiance Tameka "T.I." Cottle in these exxxclusive podcast interviews from BlackPressRadio.
Tiny is a real women. And everyone should back off her and TIPS relationship. She has enough on her plate dealing with her love being away from her. And to the people who speak shit about the way she talks, she just has a strong southern accent just like TIP.

Shut up Ugly2Ugly! That comment was so unnecessary. That's your opinion, Hater! Tiny is so pretty! She's powerful too. I can tell by ALL the Haters( like you) that crawl out from under their rocks just to say cruel things about her in an attempt to discourage her and bring her down. The good news, is that IT WON'T WORK! And, the haters' evil works will simply return back onto their own broke, pathetic, lives. Jealous Losers!!! Go Tiny!! Love you!
