Hey evan im classical guitarist grade 3 and i have a question, one of my fingernaile is broken and what do you prefer false-fingernails or fingerpicks? i never use any of them please help me mate

@StoneColdAustinn Hmm, when my nails break, I usually just file them out to be smooth again and just play without the nail until it grows back. On nylon, I will never use false-fingernails or fingerpicks. The sound is very plastic and artificial.
For steel string, to protect my fingers, I use Alaska fingerpicks. I would love to use acrylic nails on steel string, however when you remove them, they wear off your natural nail, which I need for nylon strings.

Hey, how are you picking this piece? fingertips, fingernails, acrylic nails? Great tone. Keep up the great work :D

@TokyoKid47 Fingertips! I have natural nails but they do not go too far past the flesh. So if you angle it right, you can still achieve a softer tone that uses the nails for volume, but does not make it sound too sharp and gritty.
Thank you!

Wow, I love the sound of this.. I'm in a Guitar class at school. Hopefully I'll be as good as you! You're using steel strings right? I need to get a new guitar, and I'm kind of wanting nylon, but I'm not sure which would be better.

@Runningfoot2009O Have fun in Guitar class! It won't take you long ^^
In my videos, the dark brown guitar is always nylon string, but I usually use steel string (light cream color).
It depends on what music you want to play. If you like Sungha Jung and other guitarists like him, buy steel string! If you like to play more like what's in this video, buy a nylon. Eventually, it's best to have both, but focus on the one you want the most first. ^^
