KING5 news station in Seattle is reporting on a norovirus outbreak on the Sapphire Princess cruise ship operated by Princess Cruises. Although the FDA reports that most norovirus cases are caused by food or water contamination, the PR department of the cruis eine blames passengers for bringing the virus aboard. These Cruise ships are viral incubators because they will not properly clean the ships. Hand sanitizers are not able to neutralize the virus due to its molecular structure. If you use Cruise Ships regularly you will have ruined vacations. There is not way around it.

It can happen anywhere, it just happens to be monitored much more closely on a cruise ship.
You just don't hear of the outbreaks in hotels because its never reported..

I got on this cruise that exact day, right after the sick passageners got off. It was very clean, and they had a lot of hand santizers after, they made sure everything was santized before getting on, and pools were closed to clean. They took good care to clean the ship. I recommend taking this cruise, its amazing. and alaska is beautiful.
