  • this lantern would worth this spicy price if it wouldn't made in china :|

  • @dinnerandashow haha

    Woooooo, your getting too complicated.

I don't bring in politics to my consumerism.

Hell, had that been true, I wouldn't be able to buy anything American.

I simply look at the intelligence of design and quality of the manufacturing, all within a reasonable price.

This way I promote smart, hard working people, which ever border they may be in.

As for making our economy weaker, thats a speech only rednecks tend to hand out.

My finance friends would beg to differ.

  • @dinnerandashow the saddest thing is there prices dont reflect the fact their gear in made in china, if they wanna make it in china, charge me to pay china prices. BD C4 and C3 cams are made in china and thats where i draw the line. BD by supporting a Chinese communist government you are only making your own countrys economy weaker, im sure BD doesnt care as they are now a publicly traded company that has to look good on paper to the shareholders. not the ethos you hope for 2000feet off the deck.

  • @Jolinator

    Its even worse then that.

It's made in China and "designed in America" !!!

The worst possible combination there could be.

Imagine a Ford made in China.

So it means it's terrible designed in America and pushed by American CEOs to be made at a unreasonably low budget.

  • @dinnerandashow no li-po? go Black diamond no lipo and made in china Woop. Black Diamond has merged with clarus holdings you can be sure that there products will only get worse.

  • I went through three of these. Each had a defective charger, and even when it fully charged, lasted only 8 hours on the lowest setting. We know it's cheap quality when they decided not to even use lithium polymer.

  • Just because the Orbit was designed to hang, doesn't mean that you can not stand it on a table or any other flat surface. It does have rubber feet built into the base...

  • @TheFreedomly Very good! I have one, which the battery is rechargeable on the electric power, more over, it 's with 12 light leds which it saves more energy, i mean, it keeps on, twelve houers and after that it can be rechargeable, so it 's practical to carry with me mainly when i go fishing, or camping and it 's very bright and i feel happy with mine, but as i watched yours, they're very good aswell.

  • I have the Apollo and have been more than happy with it. Its as bright as my old 8D Coleman lantern and many times cheaper to get new batteries for.
