First time turning over the engine. Had to try 3 times. :( First time battery was dead, 2nd time the chips were swapped around wrong, so 3rd time it just started right up.

Turbo is from a Mercedes 2007+ 320CDI Bluetech. Made 224hp stock at the crank. :)

No Exhaust, only a downpipe
No N75 Valve
No EGR
No MAP Sensor
No MAF

  • how mmuch boost does this new turbo make ?

  • @crasylatino16 Right now I'm running 24psi though it but I'm pretty sure it can push 27psi or so. I'm actually switching over to a gtb2260vk soon because it'll be a much more efficient manifold design instead of my current setup. It will also be a lot easier to modify.

  • Hello! I have a Mk3 Golf TDi and want the same turbo you have! where could I get one? and what other mods did you do apart from the ones you mentioned in the description, would I need a remap?

    Thanks!

  • @bedbugg1 Ebay would be your best bet. I have bought four 2056 turbos off of there for really cheap. Two of which have been on this car and two I just resold for extra money.

For mods, I have a custom map made by a guy named VWMikel over at the TDIClub.com website. His tune is a MAFless tune and changes the wastegated setup to a VNT setup using the MK4 N75 valve and MK4 MAP sensor. I have 768 Bosio PP nozzles, that big FMIC connected to the stock SMIC, and a 3" side exit exhaust.

  • hi there.. im looking at your post.. and im going to change the turbo to the same one as yours...

    have you uprated your driveshafts?

  • @P422 Stock axles. They hold fine. You should be more worried about your differential than the axles. It's usually the first thing to go.
