Fort St. John is called The Energetic City and as the largest city in BCs northeast region, this reflects not only its large resource base of oil, natural gas, forestry and agriculture, but also the vitality of its residents. In addition to an abundance of natural resources and a strong agricultural foundation, the city supports a thriving arts culture with museum, music and fine arts events, and an urban centre that serves a diverse rural and farming population.

  • this clip is all lies fsj is the worst town in bc run down crap buildings drunk indians and arrogant people why would you show this to people its just rude

  • This video is extremely sesored they made everything look better. The lake cant be swam in all year round because in the summer it gets infested with algea and becomes really gross. They dont show the ran down places like the Fort hotel or the Condill.

  • why are fsj residents and visitors being compared to geese?? this is the lamest promotion video or whatever its suppose to be th at i have EVER seen. i agree with being recognized for the community that we have here, but why so little on the economy?... and i still can't get over the geese comparison - WTF!?!?

  • I think I agree with folkyo, I have mixed thoughts on this. As a proud resident, business owner and chamber member, I like the fact that we are being recognized for the community we are (GREAT!!) but the presentation was just......off somehow. The narrator sounded like it was a foreign children's show we were watching, and there could have been a little more on the economy. Really glad to see the diversity of people though, it really is a great community!!

  • Wow. Quite the music and voice choice for our good ole town. This kinda weirds me out. Was this on Planet Earth or something?
