General Cody takes delivery of his new Corvette

Former U.S. Army Vice Chief of Staff General Richard Cody went to the National Corvette Museum earlier this month to take delivery of his 2010 Torch Red Corvette Grand Sport Convertible. Prior to picking up his vehicle the retired General toured the Corvette Plant in Bowling Green, Ky., and talked to employees. This is the 10th Corvette General Cody has owned.

My old man has a 2011 C6. I asked him if wanted a manual and he's said no because he's older now and doesn't want to deal with a manual. When you buy a car you buy whatever the hell you want because it's YOUR money and you drive with YOUR preferences. Fuck whatever someone else thinks. He'll drive his "gay ass automatic" 430HP vette and you can stick to whatever you want

I agree, not only that, but convertibles on a vette is fuckin' gay as hell. I always said, I didn't really consider a Vette a true Vette unless it was a Z06 or ZR1.

@Musclecarfever13...NO...there­'s no excuse...this is a corvette...if your gonna switch to automatic...go buy a fucking shitty ass camery or one of those hyundai's...I'm sorry but anything muscle should be 100% manuel...there ain't no fun in gay ass automatics...I'm 21 and I learned how to drive on a standard trans when I was 11...never driven an auto since...plus corvettes are RAW POWER...I can drive manuel in any situation...if you can't...tough shit...learn...

corvette build quality reminds me of the first hyundai pony cars that were imported to North America. Just crap and fell apart in no time. I have never heard so many rattles in any one car.
