    i just read a story today. they were apparently captured and grilled as food. one pangolin was so curled up they couldn't open it. they put it on the grill anyway. when it was off the grilled. surprisingly, it opened up and it then had 1 last breathe. and a little mouse size baby was still alive in apparently the pangolin mom used its body to protect it. and it made it through. it is really sad that these ant eaters are butchered this way.
